This wooden postcard frame is handcrafted by RahmenArt in their workshop in Freiburg, Germany. Rather than being perfectly uniform, the wood has been carefully shaped into soft, flowing forms, allowing its natural grain and character to remain part of the design. RahmenArt’s work is rooted in the Waldorf and anthroposophical tradition, and you can feel that in its gentle, organic appearance.
The wood feels beautifully smooth and substantial and has the wonderful, subtle scent that only naturally finished wood has.
